Dr. Jamie Zimmerman is a workforce resilience and retention speaker, educator, and consultant who helps HR leaders and people managers prevent burnout and keep the people their organizations depend on.

She built that expertise in the sector where retention is hardest. Over 12-plus years in public health and healthcare, she has led national CDC and NIH funded programs, including a surveillance network spanning more than 10 states and a 50-person team on the NIH's All of Us Research Program at Emory University.

Dr. Jamie has held the jobs her audiences hold, and she reflects the workforce she speaks to. Much of healthcare's front line is women and people of color, and she brings that shared identity and lived experience to every room. As a Doctor of Public Health, she approaches burnout and turnover with a prevention mindset: find the conditions that push good people out, and change them before you lose anyone.
